Get a Blog
Blogs are available for members of the MicroWebmasters Alliance, and Front Porch Folks Networking Community. This is not a public blogging platform, and free blogs are not available to all and sundry.
Your blog is your blog. This is a community blogging site, but you can choose whether your posts are made public on our home page, or whether your blog is even registered with search engines. If you want it private, it stays that way. If you’d like to use it to promote your business, that is fine too. You have your own admin panel to control your own blog.
We do have some rules - In fact, the same rules apply here that apply on MicroWebmasters and Front Porch Folks - keep it clean and family friendly, uphold high Ethics, and no spamming. Your blog will be reviewed for quality (if it is public), and we will remove those that violate our terms of use. Don’t worry, we aren’t out there looking for reasons to pick a fight, we’d like you to have the greatest possible ability to use this platform to your advantage.
Normally, your latest posts will appear on the home page of the MicroWebmaster Blogs site. You can elect to turn that off if you like, but if you don’t, it gives you better exposure, and makes sure your blog is found fairly quickly.
We have over 150 templates that you can select from. You can go find your own and ask us to install that as well (a one time $10 install fee applies). If you elect to use your own template, you may request that we make that template UNavailable for other users within the community.
So far we have a few plugins which are available site-wide. You may request that we install other plugins or widgets for your use - it is up to you to choose a template that is widget ready if you want to use widgets. Plugins are installed site-wide, but you can activate or de-activate them within your own site controls.
