3.11. (UPI) — The details for CBS’s 24th annual A Home for the Holidays at The Grove adoption special have been released.
Gloria Estefan, a singer and actress, will host this year’s special in December, the network announced in a press statement on Thursday.

Stories of adoption from foster care are included in A Home for the Holidays at The Grove in an effort to increase awareness of the problem. The show sheds awareness on the numerous youngsters in foster care in the United States and has encouraged tens of thousands of adoptions.
The Phoenix family, the Gilmore family, the Pitt family, and the Henderson family are the four new families featured in this year’s show.
There will be performances by Little Big Town, David Foster, Andy Grammer, Gloria Estefan, and Katherine McPhee.
The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children’s Action Network are partners in the presentation of A Home for the Holidays at The Grove. The special is produced by Triage Entertainment and Goldsmith Entertainment, with executive producers Marilyn Seabury, Stu Schreiberg, Karen Mack, and Karen Mack.
The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: Celebrating 100 Years special, which airs on December 11 on CBS, will feature performances from Estefan and Grammer as well.
