The rivalry between Samsung and Apple, the two biggest producers of smartphones worldwide, is not new. Since we can remember, the two tech titans have been involved in “brand war” efforts. Their rivalry has gained notoriety and is constantly brought up in discussions of technology.

On Samsung’s US YouTube account, a 30-second commercial with the message “It’s time to jump off the fence.
As the government has encouraged smartphone makers to immediately upgrade their hardware for the high-speed network, news agency PTI has stated that Samsung and Apple will change the software for their 5G-enabled phones in India in November or December.
The introduction of 5G services by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 1 was met with much hoopla, with top telecom companies Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio detailing plans for the rollout of the services in a few key locations.
However, due to patchy networks and the agonisingly slow release of necessary software patches over-the-air by smartphone manufacturers, the majority of customers in those specific cities still do not have access to 5G services.
The government wants the industry to start working on 5G right away because it will not only enable faster internet but also guarantee quick economic growth and increase job creation. And a lot of businesses have begun to follow suit.
In a statement, Apple said it would begin providing iPhone owners with 5G software updates in December. The iPhone 14, 13, 12, and iPhone SE are among the models that will be upgraded.
